Solid Dose Processing & Packaging
Tablets and capsules at scale
Granulation, compression, coating and encapsulation followed by blistering and cartoning: solid dosage lines are long and every step must be validated.
We help plants plan capacity expansions and source equipment.
Solid dose line
Powders are granulated and blended, pressed into tablets, coated and packed.
Step 1 of 10: Reception & weighing
Raw materials are received and weighed out into batch quantities in a protected booth.
Step 2 of 10: Material transfer
Powders move between containers and machines through closed transfer lines.
Step 3 of 10: Wet granulation
Powders are mixed with binder liquid into dense granules that flow and compress well.
Step 4 of 10: Drying
Wet granules are dried in warm fluidising air to a set moisture.
Step 5 of 10: Dry granulation
Moisture-sensitive blends are compacted into ribbons and milled into granules instead.
Step 6 of 10: Blending
Granules are blended with lubricants and excipients into a uniform final mix.
Step 7 of 10: Tablet pressing
The blend is compressed into tablets of exact weight, hardness and thickness.
Step 8 of 10: Coating
Tablets receive a film coat for taste masking, protection or controlled release.
Step 9 of 10: Packing & serialisation
Doses are sealed in blisters, cartoned and given unique codes for traceability.
Step 10 of 10: Storage & distribution
Packed product is palletised and stored for release and dispatch.
Powders are granulated and blended, filled into hard capsules and packed.
Step 1 of 9: Reception & weighing

Step 6 of 9: Blending
Granules are blended with lubricants and excipients into a uniform final mix.
Step 7 of 9: Capsule filling
The blend is dosed into hard capsule bodies, which are then closed and checked by weight.
